I grew up just a few years behind Tom and, years later, was delighted to see that he had become a great success in business. I overlap with Tom as a Director of the American Ireland Fund. Tom had tremendous zest for life and a wide circle of friends across the country and in europe. He took great pride in his family and their Irish heritage and received well dseserved recognition and honor for his support of peace and national reconciliation in Ireland.
