Dear Erma Jean, Cyndi, Tina, Kerry, Kelly and Tommy:
We were very sad to hear the news of Tom's passing. It seems so hard to believe that he is gone. He was a giant of a man; unforgettable.
We will always remember the generosity of the Tracy family (two generations) toward St. Jeanne's. Your family was most responsible for the wonderful gymnasium and theater built there several years ago. Our children enjoyed those facilities immensely;today the children at that school continue to benefit from your incredible donations.
Lisa has special childhood memories of Kelly and spending many days in your home. She will never forget the night you took the girls to see the Phantom only to realize the tickets were for the night before when you arrived at the theater. Somehow, Tom managed to get them in anyway.
I will also remember seeing your entire family walk into St. Cecilia's on a Sunday for mass. Tom always lead them down the center aisle and seated them up front. There was lots of fidgeting and giggling.
I am so impressed with all the tributes to Tom in this guest book. He spread his wings far and wide; left his footprints wherever he traveled. His legacy is remarkable; and I am sure you all miss him terribly. How comforting to read such thoughtful and heartfelt tributes to your husband and father.
We will keep you in ours prayers. May Tom rest in peace--

Today I’m going to said good by to a special friend. In our life time we meet thousands of thousands of people. Only a small handful we will remember. Tom is one of those invisibles that once you meet him you’ll never forget him. He has left us but will always be remembered by the people he has touched, by the originations he has founded and been involved with. This man will be missed by many people and I feel blessed that I can call him a friend. Our love goes out to his family.

Working with Ireland tonight....feel as if you are right here with me at the computer. Miss you and love you. Ireland will never be the same without you and the funny scenes we all made as a family in the duty-free shop. Your favorite question to random duty-free employees was "do you bargain?" and the jaunts through the airport saying “no autographs please” after the guy thought you were Dan Akroyd. Because we were late, only you could stop a boarded moving plane back to the gate to get our family to Hawaii(true story) Thanks for the laugh tonight. The humor makes this transition bearable.

I was sadden today to learn of your fathers passing, the two times I met Tom are very memorable to me I will never forget him. I will toast a drink in his name tonight!

My heartfelt condolences are offered to the Tracy family at the passing of a remarkable man. I met Tom five years ago shortly after coming to Regis University. I deeply appreciated his interest in our school and library. Tom seemed to take great delight in upsetting the administrative apple cart, so to speak, and in "taking the road less travelled", and in this he sought always to make a positive difference. I will also remember Tom for his interest in the Canadian north, my stomping grounds, where at least on one occasion Tom travelled for hunting and fishing. He will be missed. RIP

My family has admired and been friends of the Tracy family from our early years in Grosse Pointe, Michigan over 50 years ago. I grew up just a few years behind Tom and, years later, was delighted to see that he had become a great success in business. I overlap with Tom as a Director of the American Ireland Fund. Tom had tremendous zest for life and a wide circle of friends across the country and in europe. He took great pride in his family and their Irish heritage and received well dseserved recognition and honor for his support of peace and national reconciliation in Ireland. My family's condolences and prayers are with Tom's loved ones.

I am a very small voice in the giant world of Tom Tracy but, like so many, "Mr. Tracy" as we called him, touched all of us here at St. Jeanne's. Whenever he entered our school office everyone within ear-shot would smile. Even though he was a very busy man, his family was on the top of the list. He and Erma Jean were always here and always helping and supporting their children. Thank you for the smiles, Mr. Tracy, and thank you for the love.

I was deeply sorry to learn of Tom's death.
Tom was a good-hearted and big-hearted man wo loved his God, his family and his country -- while never forgetting his homeland, Ireland.
My sincere prayers are with Erma Jean and family.
May the Good Lord comfort them in their great loss. And may Tom's noble Irish-American soul rest in God's eternal peace -- a peace won by the Death and Ressurction of Jesus Christ.

Dear Erma Jean and family,
A homilist once described the sum of one's life as a woven tapestry. Tom's tapestry is obviously larger-than-life, made of bold, rich fabric and colorful, strong thread.
I am thankful for Tom and Erma Jean's generosity to Project Success Schools. You have made the world a better place.
Some of our best living is done through the people we leave behind.
